The SmartCatalog Course Database is a web-based, searchable data
resource for students and administrators wishing to research course
information in an easy to use format.
Simply scroll down to the Institution and use the search feature
to find the course you’re looking for. Or use the comprehensive
index of courses from each school. Either way, you’ll find
the information you need.

Inclusion in the database is free for the first 40 subscribers,
so get your courses to us now. Courses can be input from source
documents in Quark, Pagemaker, InDesign or MS Word. Text and tab
delimited extracts from Student Information Systems can also be
accepted.
What does it cost? SmartCatalog is building a
self-sustaining resource to serve higher education long into the
future. Inclusion in the database is free to the first 40 subscribers,
and until March 2007 there will be no fee for searching the database.
Future subscription fees will reasonable and based on annual or
one-time usage. Institutions will be able to choose from “seat
licenses” or one-time login fees.
How is SmartCatalog different from other online course
resources? There is no hook. SmartCatalog does not require
that you purchase equivilancy management software or any other
services from the firm. The course database seeks to be a stand-alone
resource serving all of higher education. |
