ECON 383 Economics of Gender (3)

Staff. Prerequisites: ECON 101 and 102. The goal of this course is to explore and understand the similarities and differences between men and women from economic perspectives. Based on economic theory and empirical analysis, this course examines how gender differences lead to different economic outcomes for the sexes and evaluates the effectiveness of government and corporate policies aimed to improved the welfare of women.
