Staff. Prerequisite: ECON 302. An examination of macroeconomic models and policy in the open economy. Topics include the Keynesian approach, purchasing power parity, the monetarist model of the balance of payments, the Mundell-Flemming model, international interdependence and policy coordination, and the exchange rate determination.
