ECON 461 Game Theory (3)
Staff. Prerequisite: ECON 301. Familiarity with basic concepts differentiation and probability will also be useful. Game theory now pervades economic analysis. Game-theoretic reasoning can also be found in other fields, including political science, sociology, and biology. This course introduces the student to the use of game theory in these diverse areas. Static and dynamic games of complete and incomplete information are studied.
