HISL 675 Africans in the Americas: Comparative Social and Cultural History of the African Diaspora (3)

Prof. Adderley. This seminar will explore the dispersion and fate of African peoples and their descendants in the United States, the Caribbean, and Central and South America with a view to developing an understanding of African-American culture as a diverse regional phenomenon rather than one confined to the United States.
