Staff. Prerequisite: ECON 102 or 104. A description and analysis of the principal features of the American economic experience. The colonial relationship with England. The economics of slavery. The industrialization and the urbanization of America. Attention also is given to the insight into contemporary problems that can be gained by an examination of our historical experience. Same as ECON 342.
