Staff. A critical introduction to architecture and urban design in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The course focuses on architecture and urban environments not only as symptomatic of cultural processes but also as active cultural forces that both represent and shape human experience. This course is concerned with the idea of modernity-the Modern, the Post-Modern, the Anti-Modern-and relationships between idea and form.
