SPAN 626 Spanish Novel of the 19th Century (3)

Prof. Davis. Prerequisite: 400-level sequence. The development of the novel in the 19th century, its different forms and literary trends: romanticism, realism, naturalism. Special attention is paid to Fernán Caballero, Alarcón, Valera, Palacio Valdés, Pereda, Galdós, Pardo Bazán, Alas, Blasco Ibáñez.
