365 Managing a Network Infrastructure (3)

Prerequisites: 362 and 261, or equivalent experience. This course will teach students how to manage a network infrastructure. Issues covered will be network protocols, services, and interoperability with Microsoft Windows, Novell NetWare, UNIX, and Macintosh computers. Also emphasized is the importance of the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) for enterprise networks and obtaining an understanding of Domain Name System (DNS), Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). Students will also learn how to install, configure, and troubleshoot features of Windows 2000 enterprise networks and Active Directory services.
