This course will introduce students to computer hardware, software, and terminology. Topics include microcomputer software (word processing, spreadsheet, database), PC operation, computer hardware, computers in society, and the Internet. Students gain experience working with the computer and software packages. Prerequisite(s): Keyboarding skill of 25 wpm or BITS100 recommended
