ESLP134 ESL Integrated Skills/TOEFL Prep - 3 CR

This course is designed to focus on the integrated skills that are evaluated on the Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-based Test (TOEFL® iBT)- reading, writing, speaking, and listening- that students need in order to demonstrate preparedness in content-based, college-level courses. The emphasis in this course is integrating and using these four skills in authentic, academic settings. While no formal grammar instruction is included in this course, grammar skills will be discussed in the writing portion as needed. Prerequisite(s): TOEFL iBT score of 54-60, TOEFL CBT score of 157-172, TOEFL PBT score of 478-499, COMPASS score of 265-289 (combined), or completion of ESLP023 with a P grade
