NURS314 Professional Nursing Concepts - 3 CR

This course focuses on the transition between the associate degree- level registered nurse and the baccalaureate-prepared registered nurse. The student will be introduced to the role of a professional nurse and to affiliated professional organizations. Historical impact on the profession and contemporary issues in the health care industry will be covered. Note: A grade of C or better is required to pass this course successfully. Prerequisite: Admission to BSN Nursing program
