NURS320C Community Health Nursing Clinical - 2 CR

This course will provide the student an introduction to the practice of community health nursing. The student will integrate public health concepts with nursing science to promote the health of populations. A focus of this course is learning to assess and plan care for families and vulnerable populations. Students will be introduced to multiple roles of the community health nurse in a variety of settings. Note: NURS320 requires two hours of lecture per week. NURS320C requires 90 hours of clinical for the semester. A grade of C or better is required to pass this course successfully. *Component Co-requisites: NURS320 and NURS320C. Prerequisite(s): NURS314, NURS315 and NURS317/317L
