NURS415 Evidence Based Nursing Practice - 2 CR
The course will provide information on the theoretical and analytical processes to improve decision-making about the delivery of nursing care to patients or populations. Topics included will be producing, compiling, and assessing evidence; use of clinical pathways and guidelines; clinical trials; decision analysis; and outcomes research. The development of a change in nursing practice and strategy for implementing it based upon an evidence- based approach will be formulated. Note: A grade of C or better is required to pass this course successfully. Co-requisite(s): HLTH401 . Prerequisite(s): MATH320
