PSMG315 Fiscal Management for Public Sector Managers - 3 CR
This application-based fiscal management course examines the budget preparation and oversight responsibilities of public sector managers. Emphasis is on the performance of a comparative analysis directed at major line-item expenses as well as contractual and consultative expenditures. Unique issues associated with public sector fiscal management, such as governmental funding, service and equipment cutbacks, and accessibility to and management of state and federal grants are also explored.
