SOSC201 Diversity in Society - 3 CR
Formerly: INTD201. This course introduces students to the complex issues surrounding diversity in the workplace and in a global society. Students will evaluate their own attitudes, thoughts, and behaviors to develop a deeper appreciation for a diverse society. They will also analyze the dynamics of diverse relations and practice and master conflict resolution strategies as they examine the complexity of real-world diversity cases. In addition, they will learn methods to overcome barriers to effective group and interpersonal communication in the workplace and in the community.
