Prof. Byers, Prof. Ensley, Prof. Grayson. Prerequisite: CHEM 243 or H247. Corequisite: CHEM H246. Laboratory to accompany H246. Techniques of organic synthesis and chemical and physical methods of identification of organic compounds. Four hours of laboratory per week. Concurrent registration in CHEM H246 required.
