CHEM 250 Environmental Chemistry (3)

Prof. McPherson. Prerequisite: CHEM 107, 108, or 241. An overview of the many aspects of environmental chemistry. Topics include aquatic chemistry, including water pollution and water treatment; atmospheric chemistry, air pollution and major threats to the global atmosphere; geochemistry and soil chemistry; nature, sources, and environmental chemistry of hazardous wastes; and toxicological chemistry.
