Prof. Mackin. Applies principles of classical and contemporary rhetorical theory to problems of writing for news media. Incorporates grammar review. Writing requirements include major news story, major feature story, and numerous smaller assignments. Emphasis on writing for print media, but stylistic techniques for broadcast media also covered.
